29 Weeks.

At 29 weeks:

Size: Acorn Squash. About 15.2-16.7 inches. 2.5-3.8 pounds.

Major Happenings: He's continuing to get plumper. As am I!

What's Been Happening: We went to Great Wolf Lodge this past weekend with the children's ministry and middle schoolers from church this weekend. It's a hotel in North Carolina with an indoor water park. It was super fun! Poor little Liam came down with a fever, though. We went to the doctor yesterday, and he has major double ear infections. My sweet baby and I have been taking it easy!

Sleep: The struggle is REAL! Sunday night I finally fell asleep at 5 AM! WHAT THE WHAT?! Insomnia to the max. It's been pretty rough.

Miss Anything: The energy of the 2nd trimester! I'm starting to get very tired again. And HOT! And LARGE. 11 more weeks...

Food Cravings: They haven't been bad this week! I really haven't craved anything!

Bellybutton in or out: Half of it's in and half of it's out. I want to sing "Are You In or Out" from Aladdin to it!

Wedding Rings on or off: on. My fingers swelled quite a bit this weekend at Great Wolf Lodge because they keep it 84 degrees in there! So, I got nervous. But they're back ON!

Looking Forward to: A weekend at HOME! Praise Jesus. We've had company and traveled for the past several weekends...5 to be exact. So we're ready for a quiet weekend at home. Our only plan is Liam's preschool easter party! Breathe in and rest :)

Friday Favorites

Last Friday night Tyler and I went to a rehearsal/rehearsal dinner for one of his best friend's from high school. Tyler was a groomsman in his wedding...and a handsome once at that! Paul's wedding was Saturday, and we had so much fun! It's our FAVORITE watching two people who love the Lord marry one another. It was so sweet!

Liam loved the dance floor! Before people started dancing (while we were waiting on the wedding party's entrance), he enjoyed rolling around with his "Bit Bit" (Blankie), playing with his cars, and eating marshmallows all on the dance floor. But my FAVORITE thing was watching him BREAK IT DOWN! He was hilarious!

Liam also had fun with the corn hole boards and bags! As well as the props from the photo booth. But he mostly just wanted to DANCE! Dancing is apparently his FAVORITE. Grammie and mommy liked the photo booth too!

My FAVORITE part of watching my boy was seeing him get scooped up by this little girl while we were slow dancing. They locked hands and danced around in a circle for several minutes. IT WAS ADORABLE! Then she picked him up, so her parents made her stop. Liam was loving it, though!

The rest of this week the goal has been RELAXING. So, we've done a lot of hanging out at home. The only times we got out during the day were for walks with Henry and Shay! We walked Monday-Thursday! YAY! It's been a gorgeous spring-like week! Warm weather and walks with our friends are our FAVORITES! Also, going to baseball games with daddy are mine and Liam's FAVORITES!

Liam's Elmo PJ's are his FAVORITE!

This kid has made our week a bit trying. He's been throwing some fits and testing us...sadly! Sometimes I think, "where has my sweet boy gone?!" But he really is still sweet! Just going through that stage. We're in full fledged discipline mode, so that's been a process. We've been on our knees asking the Lord for wisdom in this area all week! Despite the fits, this boy is our FAVORITE!

We had MOPS yesterday, which was so fun! We had my FAVORITE speaker of the year so far! She was great! She talked about the four different personalities-Lion, Otter, Golden Retriever, and Beaver- and how to tame your ZOO. It was fascinating for this Psychology major.
Also, this MOPS craft was my FAVORITE!

Last night Liam and I went to the girl's soccer game at the high school while daddy helped coach the guy's soccer game. We had so much fun! Liam did such a great job sitting through the whole game! Plus, mommy got some snuggles, which are my FAVORITE!

One other thing I must leave you with. I saw this on Facebook the other day and laughed so hard! I had to send it to Tyler because he really loves to try the hipster hair :) I'm sorry...but THAT is FUNNY!

This weekend we have fun plans to go to Great Wolf Lodge with the children's ministry and some middle schoolers! We're EXCITED!

28 Weeks.

At 28 weeks:

Size: Eggplant. About 13.6-14.8 inches. 1.5-2.2 pounds.

Major Happenings: He's putting on layers of fat. His lungs are mature enough that he could probably breathe on his own if born prematurely. His eyes can now sense changes to light. We're now officially in the 3rd trimester! WOW! This pregnancy is flying by!

What's Been Happening: We were in Tennessee last week, which was crazy! Unfortunately, Tyler's Uncle Steve passed away suddenly, so we had visitation and funeral for him Thursday and Friday. We also went to the wedding of one of our high school friends on Saturday. Tyler was a groomsman, so we had the rehearsal & dinner Friday then the wedding Saturday. It was fun to see some old friends and make new ones! Liam was a HAM on the dance floor! Love that kid to pieces! You'll be seeing some fun pictures in my Friday Favorites post Friday!

Sleep: Not enough! I broke out my body pillow once again. Hello, best friend!

Miss Anything: I'm just starting to feel kind of blah. So...just energy! I miss energy. Plus, I'm experiencing growing pains!

Food Cravings: Doritos and Hibachi still! Oh my yum.

Bellybutton in or out: Still in but SO CLOSE to popping out!

Wedding Rings: On!

Looking Forward to: Great Wolf Lodge with the children's ministry and middle schoolers this weekend! YAY! Liam was only 7 months old last time we went, so I think he will have a BLAST!

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!!! The weeks are crazy these days, so here we go :)

Last Friday my mom and dad came back into town for the weekend, and we had a blast! They got in late Friday just in time for some bedtime stories with Liam. Reading is his FAVORITE!

Saturday we went to the park for a little bit because the sunshine decided to make an appearance. Sunshiny days are our FAVORITES!

Sweet Henry came to play for a bit! He's Liam's FAVORITE friend!

Saturday night we finally got a DATE NIGHT! YAHOOOOO! Date nights are our FAVORITES!
Oh man...we love going out together! I love dating this man!

We grabbed hibachi in downtown Greenville because...FAVORITE. I must've only had "shoveling the food down my throat" in mind because I only got a picture of Tyler's plate!

After perusing Mast General Store, we stopped at our FAVORITE coffee/ice cream place: Spill the Beans. Yum!

Sunday morning stud with two of his FAVORITE people.

Fiesta was on the menu for lunch. Liam's lemon excitement is my FAVORITE! He cracks us up!

Monday I had my glucose test at my doctor's appointment, then Liam and I loaded up with mom and dad to head to Tennessee. Once we got there, Aunt Abby greeted us! Aunt Abby is one of Liam's FAVORITE snuggle bugs and playmates.

Liam's friends are his FAVORITE.

Playing chalk with Nana is a FAVORITE.

Tuesday night we went to Aunt Abby's for dinner, and we got to hang out with HEATHER and ABBY! Yay! Liam's my FAVORITE grocery store helper! And this kid enjoyed acting like a kitty cat on the blanket stack!

Playing with Gpa is Liam's FAVORITE!

Wednesday morning my mom pushed me out the door to have a mommy day by myself! A little break is my FAVORITE. THANK YOU, MOM (Nana)!

Wednesday night Liam got to meet his kitty cousin Rudder, and we got to have dinner with Uncle TT and Aunt Cass! We went to Newk's, which is my FAVORITE! Then we surprised Grammie with flowers to brighten her day! We read books and played with Gare Bear, Grammie, TT, and Cass for the night! Family time is our FAVORITE!

Monday we received word that Tyler's uncle unexpectedly passed away. So Thursday we had visitation for him. Liam made friends with his 2nd cousins. Aunt Kimmie read to him and Shiloh...until someone had a poopy diaper. She was way over it then :)

Friday morning was Uncle Steve's funeral and burial. Afterward we grabbed Mexican food with family. I hated the circumstances, but we were so glad to see family! Family time really is our FAVORITE!

We had a crazy week, and tonight Tyler and I are off to a rehearsal dinner for the wedding he's in tomorrow. Then it's back to South Carolina for us! Whew.

Have a great weekend!
