32 Weeks.

This week has been a big deal in our household. Our little tiny Liam boy moved into his BIG BOY BED! Oh my word. Let me tell you...he's been amazing in the transition! Sunday night was his first night in his new room. He didn't even get out of bed. He fell asleep and stayed asleep until 7:15 the next morning! The second night, he got up once, popped his door open and said, "Hi" to me (I was standing at the door watching him get up through the monitor). When I told him to get back in bed he BAWLED. So, I calmed him down, gave him bit bit (his blankie), and gave him another kiss goodnight. He didn't get back up! He slept until 7 the next morning. We're so proud of him!

Here he is on the day of his transition. He was loving his new setup! And if you know our boy at all...you know his obsession with balls...footballs, baseballs, basketballs, etc. etc.

Looking so little and so big at the same time...

Ready for a good night!

Want to know who we aren't proud of? THIS GIRL. I may or may not have cried for TWO WHOLE HOURS after laying him down that first night. I was just going over his life in my head and how fast it's gone and how this is just the first step of all the new changes coming (I like routine...change is not always my friend). So, I just lost my mind for a while! BUT since that first night, I've been a champ too (haha!). I haven't cried anymore. I'm just so thankful he's transitioned well so far. And he LOVES his ball sheets! He reminds us over and over about the batballs (basketballs), Occer (soccer), beisball (baseballs), and bats! He gets excited every time he sees them. Oh, he has my heart!
We love this sweet boy to bits and pieces!

And guys...I put all his animals on the floor outside of his crib and told him to start putting them in his big boy bed. He scooped up almost ALL of them at one time and giggled all the way to his new room. He loves his bedtime buddies! Too precious!

"Mommy...I'm just a big boy! I'm Fiiiiiiine."

At 32 weeks:

Size: A large squash or a large Jicama. About 15.2-16.7 inches. 2.5-3.8 pounds.

Major Happenings: He has toenails, fingernails, and real hair! He's likely in the head-down position to prep for birth. This is going SO FAST.

What's Been Happening: We moved our first BABY to his big boy bed this week, and as you can tell from above...momma did NOT handle that well! Liam must have been more ready than me! I hear that's how all of life will go as a momma. We also had a check up today. All is well! The only (slight) concern is a touch of protein in my urine (sorry for the TMI), so I have to keep an eye on my blood pressure to be sure we don't have anything to worry about (pre-eclampsia). The doctor wasn't worried; he just wants me to check it frequently next week.

Sleep: Ok. Transitioning Liam has made me sleep much more lightly! I check the monitor frequently. But he's been such a champ! My back has been waaaaaaay better lately. PRAISE JESUS. Now, I've just got a pesky burning, aching, muscle-torn feeling in my abdomen. I had this pain in the same place with Liam last time, but I don't remember it bothering me this much! So, anyways. Sleep is so-so! But hey, when will I ever sleep again? ;)

Miss Anything: Liam as a BABY. I'm so grateful we have a healthy growing boy, but it's gone by way too quickly. Just LOOK at newborn Liam. OH, MY HEART.

Food Cravings: I've really been wanting watermelon this week! OH MAN. If you followed my last pregnancy, you'll note I ate about 9 watermelon BY MYSELF in ONE MONTH during the 3rd trimester. Well, it must be psychological because here we are again...I bought my first one of the season (3rd trimester) today! They aren't quite IN SEASON technically, so they're 10 whole dollars at Bi-lo! AHHHH. But luckily, they were on sale for $5.90! Jesus knew I was going for it and couldn't make it to Walmart today.

Bellybutton in or out: I'm going to have to say OUT! Ahhhhhh! My outtie is BACK!

Wedding Rings on or off: Still on! Yesssssss!

Looking Forward to: Final touches on Liam's big boy room and transitioning the nursery into "Harper's Room!" Wow. Also--our final trip to Tennessee next week before Harper comes into our lives. Which probably also means the last trip until THANKSGIVING. Because it's going to be INTERESTING traveling with two. AH! Lord, help us all!
