It's time again to recap our week! I love that I'm able to document these fun memories :) I love my days with our Liam, and I'm trying to soak them up!
Last Friday morning Shay and I took our boys to visit one of our friends--Ms. Sandy! She had freshly baked blueberry muffins (from scratch), chocolate chip cookies (also from scratch), and coffee waiting on us! AMAZING. She knows how to be hospitable, that's for sure! We love visiting Ms. Sandy! Not to mention she has the greatest back porch in the history of back porches (that I've ever seen!).
After Ms. Sandy's house, we went to pick fresh strawberries! Oh my! I'd rather have freshly picked strawberries over any kind of dessert any day...and that's a big deal for this sweets-loving girl!
That evening we got to hang out with the Meares and some of our friends who came to town to celebrate Henry's first birthday! Our boys had so much fun playing together! Or next to each other, rather.
Saturday afternoon we went to Henry's (Shay and Bryan's son) first birthday party! We had such a fun time! He's a precious boy, and we have LOVED watching him grow this year! We love Henry Silas!
Monday we went to cheer on COACH DADDY at the Palmetto Varsity soccer game! Liam got to kick a ball into the "BIG GOAL" after the game! He thought he was big stuff. This kid adores his daddy! I think the feeling is mutual.
Tuesday morning we met some friends from our MOPS group at a goat farm in Anderson. We had fun seeing baby goats, big goats, a kitty cat, and a pig!
My sweet boy!
Liam was terrified of the big goats. Poor guy! He needed his m-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-mmy.
He did love the babies, though!
He was even scared of the big metal goats. Oye!
That night we cheered on daddy at his church league basketball game. Liam got to play with one of his favorite friends- KARSEN!
Wednesday we had to run errands, so Walmart was on our list for groceries. Liam makes his fishy face every time we ask if he wants to go to Walmart. That's where the fish are! duh. He was diggin' my sunglasses, so I was weak and got him a pair of his own. He prefers to wear them on top of his head like I do indoors! It cracks me up!
Wednesady night we had a great night at youth! Then we went for our weekly dinner to Fiesta with our church peeps! Nothing like cheesy rice.
Thursday I needed to get the house clean, so Shay picked up Liam and took him to her house to play! She even fed him lunch! I can't tell you what a great friend that girl is. I would've never gotten the house finished with him here. It took me from 8:30AM-1:30PM. I'm 8 months pregnant, and FEELING IT, so this was SO appreciated. She's just the best! Plus Liam came back home and took a 3 hour nap! BOOM!
Thursday evening Liam and I went to Nagoya because mama needed some hibachi!
That night we went to daddy's last soccer game of the season. Then we waited for some friends who were passing through and crashing for a couple of nights. We were so excited to see EMMA (and her mama and daddy!), so we had to distract ourselves with some Dora! I love that he propped his little elbow on my tummy. Sweet boy!
We are excited to have a play date with miss Emma today! We love our friends!
Have a great weekend!
