I can't wait to share this past week with you! It was such a fun one!
Last Friday Grammie and Gare Bear (Tyler's parents) came to visit us! Liam and I spent the morning cleaning the house before their arrival. We had already put away all of Liam's toys, so I told him he could only pick one toy to get out of his big boy room...he came toddling in with ONE basket full of all these balls. Kid's smart! With that ingenuity, I couldn't say no! Balls are his FAVORITE!
He's also my FAVORITE cleaning helper!
Grammie and Gare Bear came bearing GIFTS! A baseball bat, two baseballs, and a glove! YAY! Playing with his new toys is his FAVORITE way to spend the day! Not to mention...DADDY.
Grammie and Gare Bear also brought along his new big boy bed and headboard! His headboard needs to be painted, but we went ahead and let him play on his bed a bit. Watching him play on his big boy bed was my FAVORITE!
Building Lego towers with Grammie is this kid's FAVORITE! I'm really not sure who had more fun!
Saturday morning breakfast with a large collection of fruit is my FAVORITE! I could eat fruit and fruit alone all day every day.
We took Liam to the Greenville Zoo for his first ever zoo experience! We knew he'd enjoy it, but we didn't realize how much! Watching him enjoy this experience was my FAVORITE!
After the zoo, we took a little trip to Brixx. Brixx is one of my FAVORITE places to get pizza! wood fired...YUM. But more than that, their pita and hummus is my all-time FAVORITE! I demolished it!
Tyler and I voted because doing our civic duty is our FAVORITE. Trump winning South Carolina is SO not out favorite...Tyler and I cannot be to blame!
Liam is a squirmy wormy ALL THE TIME. But throw on some Barney, and he is a CHAMP for Grammie to give him a haircut. His big boy haircut is my FAVORITE.
Sunday morning I got up and headed to see my two college roommates and best friends! Anna and her husband David just adopted sweet Isla, whom I mentioned in last week's Friday Favorites post. Before they head back to China (where they live), Shelbi and I got to see Anna and David and MEET ISLA! Oh my word. This was just a beautiful day. I hadn't seen these friends in so long, and then to meet Isla on top of that...Wow. I'm so grateful the Lord worked it out for all of us to be together. This was my FAVORITE day of the year so far!
Not to mention...Adoption is BEAUTIFUL. I'm amazed.
Getting these shots of my little man back at home while I was gone for the day was my FAVORITE. He's so cheesy! And of course, our typical "say goodbye to grandparents" picture on our front porch. It's always sad to see them go!
The personality on this guy...totally my FAVORITE. He looked at his sippy cup at breakfast, pointed to the clown, and said "DADDY!" Oh, I died laughing!
Monday night we had a skate night party with our Sunday morning connection group (say that ten times fast!). We had fun with these friends! A night away from adult responsibilities to hang out with friends is our FAVORITE! Of course, I'll be excited when I can participate once again! My mom would've killed me if I'd gotten out there. I know she would've...I asked.

The guys and girls raced, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching people fall :) I'm sorry, but it was way too funny! And I didn't hear about Tyler's injuries for too long after they happened! Way to be tough, babe!
I've had a HANKERING (southern way to say craving) for hibachi food...fried rice in particular. So, since we cannot spend a dime more eating out this month, I tried my hand at fried rice...homemade style. And I must say, it's a winner! Fried rice is my FAVORITE!

Yesterday morning Liam and I met some of our FAVORITE friends at Chick-fil-a for breakfast! Because...gift card :)
Liam loves to line things up. It's so funny to watch him. He was extremely proud of his line of cars. Watching him celebrate the little things is my FAVORITE...after all, they're big things to him!

My parents are BACK for a weekend of fun this weekend! Whew! What a whirlwind of a month! But it's been SO FUN. We're so grateful for our people! Enjoy your weekend!
