Friday Favorites.

Oh, what a great week it's been!

Last Friday we had a "snow day." And by snow day, I mean they called for tons of snow, cancelled school, and it rained all day. BOO. BUT we made the most of it. We stayed in bed for quite a while, then Tyler built a fort in the living room for us to hang out in. Forts are a Clem Clan FAVORITE!

Snuggles with my babe are my FAVORITE!

Saturday morning we finally woke up to a blanket of beautiful snow! Snow is our FAVORITE!

Playing in the snow is now Liam's new FAVORITE. Or "NO" as he calls it. Surprisingly it sounds a little different than his actual "no" though! Precious boy. Daddy pulled him around the front yard in the sled, and he even got to go down our tiny hill...and by hill I mean our little ditch.
He loved it though!

That night some of our friends came over! The guys played basketball at the church gym while the girls made kale chips, brownies, and played Chicken Foot.
Hanging out with these gals is a FAVORITE of mine! Especially when games are involved!

This cheese face is my FAVORITE.

Monday night we were doing a major clean out in our house. We have plenty to sell in our church's next yard sale. YES! We came across this wig, and Liam was HILARIOUS in it. My FAVORITE moment of him wearing it was when we put it on each other back and forth, and we were DANCING our hearts out! We were both literally cracking up at each other. It was definitely a moment when I thought, "I'm so thankful to be his mommy." I truly tear up every time I think about it!
He's a funny little boy!

Another FAVORITE is mine and Tyler's new room! We moved into the old "man room", and we have LOVED IT! I can't share pictures just yet (because it's not completely finished), but I will share soon! I will share this sneak peek of the beautiful artwork of my sister-in-law Cassidy...this now hangs over our bed! She makes wonderful pieces over at DoodlefortheKing. I LOVE having her artwork in our home. You MUST check her out!

Have a great weekend!

22 Weeks.

At 22 weeks:

Size: Spaghetti Squash. About 11 inches. 1 pound!

Major Happenings: His eyes and lips are developed. He's developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums! He now has fine hair covering his whole body. My little woolly mammoth :)

What's Been Happening: Last week was ROUGH, y'all. I had a cold from somewhere awful. It knocked me out for a few days. And Liam was only taking 1-1.5 hour naps. TOTAL. Each day. Yuck! But, we're finally on the mends! YAY!

Sleep: Oh sleep's been rough due to not being able to breathe out of my nose and coughing like a crazy woman!

Miss Anything: No tailbone pain. My tailbone killed me with Liam, but I thought it was because I bent over computers all day as the computer lab teacher. But this round, it's killin me again. After walks, cleaning, or doing anything strenuous especially.

Food Cravings: This week I've really wanted Doritos! Again, with the saltiness. I haven't gotten any, but my mouth continues to salivate for them...(ahem...Tyler. Ahem.) This poor baby does NOT care for healthy foods.

Bellybutton in or out: IN. PRAISES.

Wedding Rings on or off: Still on :)

Looking Forward to: Continuing to feel this boy move! i just LOVE this part! Also, we're beginning our room switcharoo! It will be a process, but I can't wait to have it all finished!

Friday Favorites

Today is Friday Favorites: SICK Edition.

The weekend away with my little family and our friends was my FAVORITE.
Watching these two playing together was also my FAVORITE!

Coming home to a flared up COLD was not my favorite. BUT this little man's face has been my FAVORITE all week. Still rockin' Christmas jammies. Word.

On Tuesday evening, I was having a hankering for O'Charley's loaded potato soup, so I loaded Liam and myself up in the car and got it. This was before the cold totally wiped me out.
My FAVORITE menu item at O'Charley's is potato soup!

I love having my quiet time in the mornings but that doesn't always work out, so nap time is usually the time. But this week, after we put Liam in bed, I've been doing my quiet time. It's been so quiet and peaceful around here at night since I'm trying to get well and can't go anywhere.
Hot tea and Jesus...FAVORITES!

Liam's antics are always my FAVORITE. A couple of days ago he was throwing his balloon into the basketball hoop, then running to me with a huge grin until I'd acknowledge his accomplishment.
Wanting praise is naturally instilled in all of us, huh?

I haven't been the best mommy this week due to sickness, so we decided to play with Play-doh yesterday morning, and Liam loved it! It was his FAVORITE activity this week, I think!

These guys have been some of my FAVORITE companions this week.
I couldn't have done it without you, guys. Hugs and kisses.

Ain't nobody got time to be sick. Mommas included. This week has been rough.
Here's to hoping for a healthy, great weekend!

A Weekend Getaway

Martin Luther King Jr. weekend was one for the books. A group of our friends went to a cabin in the mountains of Georgia (sounds a little funny...but really!). It was a lovely cabin on a lake.
We're so grateful for these friends and our growing relationships with them!

On our way there, sweet little Liam fell asleep with baby doll in the backseat. It was way precious!

We decided the weekend needed to be full of hibernating, and that's exactly what we did. We ventured down to the lake a few times, but for the most part, we stayed inside. The guys played a lot of ping pong, Xbox, frisbee golf, etc. The girls did not. There was a ton of Dutch Blitz and Phase 10, though. Think 10 adults, 4 children in this cabin together for a few solid days.
It wasn't the calmest, but it was the best!

These two kept us pretty entertained! They loved running from room to room "racing" each other.

Emma and Liam are about 1 year apart. They would pick on each other, but then they'd laugh and laugh together. It was so sweet! Emma's getting a baby brother or sister in August. And of course Liam is getting his brother in May. They will both be such great older siblings!

Joel decided to join in on the fun! We were just missing Henry! I love these precious little ones.

And we've always got to get a picture with the babies and Aunt Les! The left is at the beach this past September...the right this weekend!

Liam got some snuggle time with daddy!

Liam was all smiles even though he slept horribly the whole weekend.

We all snuggled up in cozy coats to get some fresh air, avoid cabin fever, and to take some pictures to commemorate our great weekend!

I love my little family :)

The ladies and the babes.

These girls are such an encouragement to me! I feel like I've know them for quite a while.
I love them all!

The whole crew.

Until next time, sweet little house! We had a great weekend!

21 Weeks.

At 21 weeks:

Size: Pomegranate. About 10.5 inches. 12.7 ounces.

Major Happenings: His digestive system is prepping for the outside world!

What's Been Happening: We had an incredible weekend getaway to a mountain cabin with a great group of our friends! I will definitely be doing a weekend recap because it was a blast and we have some super cute pictures to share :) Unfortunately, we've had cases of the cold circulating the Clem family, so we're praying this week is a week of healing and relaxation as well!

Sleep: Oh man. Liam did the craziest thing...Sunday night he was up from 3:30 AM-7:00 AM. He kept me up the entire time. It was terrible! So, not only am I fighting a cold and am pregnant, my toddler decides he wants to PARTY. In the middle of the night. For 3.5 hours. NOT OK. Praying for much better sleep these next few days.

Miss Anything: When I like wearing jeans...those were the days. #helloleggings

Food Cravings: Grape juice. I've been totally into grape juice this pregnancy. I buy some bottles and hoard them all for myself. Hands off my grape juice, dudes of the house!

Bellybutton in or out: Still an innie!

Wedding Rings on or off: Still on.

Looking Forward to: A couple of weekends coming up with our parents in town. We LOVE our parents/Liam's grandparents. We never get to spend enough time with them it seems, so we can't wait for them to come for their visits! WE LOVE LIAM'S GRANDPARENTS. And hello for a little parenting break :) #justkidding #butreally #mommatired

Friday Favorites.

Welcome to another edition of FRIDAY FAVORITES!
This time it's basically a weekly recap with my favorites thrown in there :)

I love this day of the week!

So, last Friday after I'd already posted Friday Favorites, Liam and I helped Tyler and two of the church's interns (and our friends) clean out the youth room and his office. It was QUITE the undertaking. So, afterward we rewarded ourselves with House of Pizza.
Pizza with these babes is my FAVORITE!

After a long day's work, a nap and then some reading with daddy is Liam's FAVORITE. Not to mention, mommy's FAVORITE is seeing how much these two love each other.

Going to watch our favorite high school team play basketball is our FAVORITE!
Also- peanut butter sandwiches!

And hanging with Sam and Morgan is our FAVORITE!

Showing off how goofy and funny Liam is has to be his FAVORITE! Mine too!

Liam showing off his red kicks to the big boys is my FAVORITE!

My FAVORITE Saturday mornings are those when Liam sleeps in until 11 and gets up to eat lunch for breakfast! He loves him some ranch. Can you blame him?

Matching my boy is my FAVORITE!

An outing with Liam and Tyler is my FAVORITE!
First, we hit the hardware store! Liam's FAVORITE is wandering instead of sitting in the cart.

Onto ice cream next because...well, duh. It's our FAVORITE!

Then onto Cabela's because daddy's FAVORITE places are those with stuffed animals and camo.  These trips include way too many "I can't see you because you're next to camo" jokes.
Liam's FAVORITE were all the stuffed animals.

His next FAVORITE was the fish tank! We went back to it 100 times, it seems!

The way the boys humor me is my FAVORITE. I mean...just look.

Lastly, Liam's FAVORITE were the dog beds! Let's just take a nap.

Wrapping our weekend up with the Meares is our FAVORITE!

Liam growing up so quickly is not my favorite. BUT look at this precious face. He got to move up to the Toddler room at church this past Sunday! He had so much fun! He's my FAVORITE.

Getting a text from Shannon with this picture of her and Liam when he was so little is my FAVORITE! This was our first official date night out post Liam. Wow! So little!

Liam's baby doll is his FAVORITE. I love seeing his little mind working and the imaginative play kicking in.

Watching basketball with OG and a sucker is also Liam's FAVORITE!

Snuggles with my pumpkin are definitely a FAVORITE of mine!

Watching the National Championship with lots of friends is our FAVORITE!
Alabama winning is NOT our favorite.

These two watching Kentucky basketball together is my FAVORITE.

Especially since this allowed mommy a break, so I got to watch The Bachelor.
And this meme is my FAVORITE. Dying.

I literally laugh every time I see that...is my life that sad? #sadbutcomeonthatsfunny

I made brussels sprouts and onions this week..oh my YUM! I used to hate vegetables, so I've come a LONG way. And wow...these are my FAVORITE.

This little boy is my FAVORITE. Look how big he looks!

He used to look like this in his crib...TEAR. This was his very first day at home.

Liam sitting in his big boy chair while watching Barney is my last FAVORITE this week!

That's a lot of FAVORITES! I'm just enjoying this life :) Have a great weekend!
