A Weekend Getaway

Martin Luther King Jr. weekend was one for the books. A group of our friends went to a cabin in the mountains of Georgia (sounds a little funny...but really!). It was a lovely cabin on a lake.
We're so grateful for these friends and our growing relationships with them!

On our way there, sweet little Liam fell asleep with baby doll in the backseat. It was way precious!

We decided the weekend needed to be full of hibernating, and that's exactly what we did. We ventured down to the lake a few times, but for the most part, we stayed inside. The guys played a lot of ping pong, Xbox, frisbee golf, etc. The girls did not. There was a ton of Dutch Blitz and Phase 10, though. Think 10 adults, 4 children in this cabin together for a few solid days.
It wasn't the calmest, but it was the best!

These two kept us pretty entertained! They loved running from room to room "racing" each other.

Emma and Liam are about 1 year apart. They would pick on each other, but then they'd laugh and laugh together. It was so sweet! Emma's getting a baby brother or sister in August. And of course Liam is getting his brother in May. They will both be such great older siblings!

Joel decided to join in on the fun! We were just missing Henry! I love these precious little ones.

And we've always got to get a picture with the babies and Aunt Les! The left is at the beach this past September...the right this weekend!

Liam got some snuggle time with daddy!

Liam was all smiles even though he slept horribly the whole weekend.

We all snuggled up in cozy coats to get some fresh air, avoid cabin fever, and to take some pictures to commemorate our great weekend!

I love my little family :)

The ladies and the babes.

These girls are such an encouragement to me! I feel like I've know them for quite a while.
I love them all!

The whole crew.

Until next time, sweet little house! We had a great weekend!
