Blast From the Past & Tennessee

Ladies and Gentlemen...We have reached the end of the series. UPDATE-until-we-catch-up-Post-3: Here Goes NOTHING!

Little man was POOPED this particular Sunday morning. He had played with the babysitters the night before, and I had to wake him up at 9 so we could make it to Sunday school!

Liam and I baked cookies for some of my friends and former coworkers. We made them goody bags to cheer them up the day before school started. It's always a great idea to have a goody bag to dive into after that first day of school!

Liam and I have been popping in to visit my best friend and her baby Henry on our morning walks! We love spending part of our mornings with them! It truly takes a village, and I'm so glad she's part of my village!

Tyler and his interns were busy gearing up for the Back to School Bash, and I volunteered to cover these TERRIBLE pillows for the pallet couch...

Before. Yuck. I felt like I got diseases just touching them!

After!

After on the couch:

My little helper after a long day's work!

Back to School Bash success!

Liam and I got to hang out with Baby Henry one morning while his mommy went to the doctor (boo). I love watching Liam with him! We had to pat Henry nicely instead of poking his little head.

We read him books!

And we giggled on the floor! I love these boys to pieces!

Once we got home, Liam decided to wear all of daddy's hats! He rocked them!

We take a walk almost every day to get this weight off! This day, he played hard with Henry and couldn't hang!

Oh, life with a toddler! I left the room for two seconds, and he knocked all his Cheerios onto the floor and end table. What's a mom to do? Let him eat off the end table, of course!

This was an interesting find on one of our walks! I drove the stroller directly over it! Talk about a freak out moment!

Trying new foods! He's becoming pickier and pickier. Much to my dismay!

Mommy likes to try new hairstyles :)

This guy is a JOY!

He loves his puppies!

He tried my shoes on and thought he was big stuff!

Fall youth worship has kicked off! I'm so proud of my husband. I love his heart for our students.

Liam and I traveled to Tennessee last weekend for a bridal shower for one of my best friends! We stopped at Chick-Fil-A and Liam decided to dip his chicken into the ketchup, lick the ketchup off, and never eat the chicken. Oye! What's a momma to do?

Thursday we hung out with family, and Friday I got up to take my walk and CLUTZ ANDI decides to come back to haunt me. I tend to be nice and graceful [yeah, right] at my parents' house. I walked out their door and started power walking when their NEXT DOOR neighbor's sidewalk popped up out of nowhere and tripped me! My shoulder took my fall, and I slid across their driveway. I have some scrapes and large bruises, but I was most worried about my poor phone. It SHATTERED. But thanks to the guy at Cellaris, I have a new screen! Praises!

Friday night we got to go to dinner with Tyler's mom and sister-in-law. Liam was a HAM, and loved looking at himself. Here he is giving himself a big ole' kiss!

We went to watch Travis (my brother-in-law) play drums with his band! It was awesome!

Our favorite little drummer boy!

I even got to see one of my dearest friends...RISHA!

Saturday morning we went to Lauren's bridal shower! This girl and I have been friends since 8th grade! We've gone through a WHOLE lot together. I adore her! She gets married September 26th! YAY!

Liam took a few wagon rides while at Nana and Gpa's house!

We got to hang out with Grammie and Gare Bear a few times this trip too!

Liam loved watching the Little League World Series with his Gare Bear!

I also found a few gems for y'all tucked away in a box at mom and dad's house...[where some of these pictures should stay...]

This was me at exactly Liam's current age:

I used to be adorable!

Then something happened around 3rd grade. I can't explain it. All the awkward of the universe decided to implant itself into my body, and now we all get amusement out of it! Luckily, my glass were "jewelry for my face." At least that's what my mom always told me!

I can't even with the sweater vest!

Then middle school hit. The awkward of the universe couldn't even handle me. It's a good thing those years are behind me! Bless my soul.

Back in SC, we went to a volleyball game last week! This little man sat in between us and watched the ball volley for a good 30 minutes! Look how precious.

Once 30 minutes ended, squirmy wormy took over. Nonetheless, he did well! And the chicks DIG him!

I like to call this one "When a Toddle is Quiet." I left the room for ONE MINUTE, and I find my water spilled everywhere. That smile, though.

And I must leave you with this guy's awesome football dance! Enjoy :)
